SIWAREX FTC （灵活的连续称重技术）是一种高精度、高速的称重控制模块，可以用于各种失重式给料设备的称重控制应用。通过在固定时间间隔取得物料重量的变化，可以计算得出物料瞬时流量。闭环控制器利用这个流量值来控制失重式给料设备的给料量。

一家德国食品公司，在全球有几百名员工，生产各种各样的食物，包括面包、糖果、奶制品等等。为了确保工厂高效运行并保证产品质量，必须使得生产流程优化和高度自动化，于是用户决定采用西门子 SIWAREX FTC 称重控制系统来替换老的系统。
面临的问题

在面包生产过程中，为了实现连续生产高品质的食品，用户要求对面粉和各种添加剂配比进行高精度的连续计量和控制。由失重给料装置（见图2，螺旋给料机）将面粉按照预设的流量送入定量给料容器，定量给料容器也作为秤来使用，混合来自不同失重式给料机的物料，并根据预设重量值控制各失重式给料机的流量保持在 1～4T/H 之间，确保各物料之间正确的配料重量比例。失重给料装置可以储存大约200kg 重的物料，3～12 分钟就会从上方的原料仓补一次料（图4 ）。
作为称重控制系统升级方案的一部分，老的称重仪表由SIWAREX 称重模块取代，由于新的技术的使用，可以使得：
* 提高批量加料计量精度，不受外部因素（例如机械振动等）的干扰；　　* 可适用于不同种类、不同密度的面粉计量控制；
* 分别获取和显示料位和物料重量值；
* 易于集成在SIMATIC S7 系统中，使得称重和控制完美结合；

与众不同的称重原理
