增加相应的自动检测控制手段，改变控制和管理模式，消除人为因素对产品质量波动造成的不利影响，确保下达的球磨工艺得以不折不扣的执行，球磨时间的控制精度得以提高，达到改善产品质量的目的。
球磨机的主要功能就是将块状的物料经过球磨机转动，在球磨机内和磨球互相作用，磨成粉末状。工艺过程如下：
装入原料—盖上无缝盖—启动球磨机—时间到—停止球磨—自动或点动将进料口朝上—换成卸料栅盖—启动球磨机－－时间到—卸料完成，生产完成。
1）球磨阶段
一次启动球磨机时，如果进料口的位置不在正确位置上，可手工点动使球磨机的进料口回到正确位置上，此时可以将原料放入球磨机内。原料装入后，将转位开关换到球磨，准备进入球磨阶段。
设定球磨时间，如果没有设定，将使用原来的时间设定值。按下启动按钮，启动球磨机开始球磨。此时将显示该球磨机处于球磨状态，并且显示剩余的球磨时间。
设定时间到后，球磨机自动停止，将显示该球磨机球磨结束，处于卸料阶段。
2）卸料阶段
将进料口的盖子换成带栅格的卸料盖，此时进料口变成卸料口，将转换开关的位置打到卸料挡，启动球磨机。此时显示该台球磨机处于卸料阶段，并显示卸料所需的剩余时间。设定时间到后，自动停止球磨机，并且卸料口处于正上方的位置。
要实现的主要功能：
1）球磨机严格按照工艺段设定时间停机；
2）故障情况下时间保持功能（即在故障恢复后能按照剩余未研磨时间继续完成操作）；
3）具备运行工艺参数显示、设定、记录以及报警显示、记录功能；
4）自动归位
为了提高生产效率，无需操作人员每次点动将进料口置于正确位置，球磨机每次停机后自动回到正确位置。
5）系统安全
操作人员要获得相应权限的用户名和密码，才能进行正常的操作，并记录下相关的信息。
为防止操作人员在现场的误操作，设置监控授权；现场设备正常运行和处于检修时，监控计算机上无权远程操作。
6）系统能够进行手动/自动选择，远程/就地启动设备授权，各子系统互相独立，不会因为一台设备故障而影响整个系统的运行。
根据上述生产工艺流程及要求，本次对生产现场的6台球磨机实现自动控制和监控管理。所要控制的是球磨、卸料两个主要阶段，控制对象全部为数字开关量，并遵循顺序控制方式。6台球磨机共48个输入点和6个输出点，具体是：系统启动/停止、电机启动/停止、电机故障、转速传感器、球磨/卸料、维修等开关量信号。In order to suppress interference, add a shield, and the shield also needs to be grounded However, due to the potential difference between the reference points between the instrument and the equipment (that is, the common location of each equipment is different), the problems of "ground circulation" and "grounding loop" are formed. Cosmic noise is produced by ionizing radiation and changes constantly throughout the day. Solar noise changes dramatically with solar activity. Natural noise will mainly cause interference to communication, while lightning energy spike pulse can cause damage to many equipment, which should be avoided or reduced to reduce the degree of damage and loss.

3) Human interference

The root cause of electromagnetic interference is the change of voltage or current in the conductor, that is, large DV / DTDI / dt DV / dt or di / dt can make the conductor produce electromagnetic wave radiation.
