控制系统选用施耐得公司的QUANTUM系列PLC，系统主要功能实现动筛车间、洗煤车间、压滤车间、装车站设备的自动控制，由一个主控室、三个副控室组成，并形成控制网络，实现对全厂设备的监控。
1 控制系统介绍
1.1概况
控制系统在主厂房控制室、动筛车间控制室、装车控制室、压滤车间控制室设立CPU站点，在主厂房配电室、动筛车间配电室、浓缩车间配电室、原煤仓下配电室、产品仓上/下配电室设立远程I/O分站，它与CPU站组成RI/O网络，CPU站之间组成MB+网，CPU与上位机组成以太网，现场I/O负责设备的启停和生产信息的采集，CPU负责逻辑运算和信息的处理，上位机负责设备状态的监控和操作。
1.2控制范围及主要控制环节
1）原煤及地销煤系统：矿井箕斗仓下给煤机至动筛车间、原煤仓上、块精煤仓及地销装车给煤机，参控设备34台，电机42台。
2）浓缩压滤系统：从浓缩机底流泵、压滤车间到煤泥皮带机，受控设备30台。
3）装车系统：原煤仓下给煤机、221皮带、装车仓下给煤机及装车设备，受控设备40台。
4）水洗系统：入洗皮带至产品仓上设备，受控设备50台。
5）事故停车采用事故点设备至煤流源侧急停，事故点到煤流方向设备依次延时停车。
6）原煤系统以动筛跳汰机为中心实现质量控制单元自动；水洗系统以跳汰机为中心实现质量控制单元自动化，浓缩机实现浓度控制单元自动化，各种运输设备实现综合自动化。
7）对主要的料位、液位、闸门位置、翻板位置、浓度、流量、40千瓦以上的电机电流、溜槽堵塞实现实时在线检测，设定常值、超值报警。
1.3灵活的控制方式：集控/就地/单起
集控方式下PLC执行用户程序的全部控制功能；就地方式下PLC仅执行数据采集和模拟显示功能；单起方式下，在集控室可实现单台设备的启停车，并具有联锁、解锁功能；设置就地操作设施，该设施不通过PLC控制。
1.4实现功能
本系统形成后，可以取消各种岗位工，工人由操作工变为巡检工，不参与设备的控制（事故状态除外），可实现如下功能：
1）控制功能，实现设备控制方式和工艺流程选择、启车预告、系统单起/程序启停、系统运行的闭锁、过程参数的实时监测。
2）诊断功能，能快速正确地识别模块配置错误、模拟量超程、线路断线等故障，自动报告总线通讯错误还是网络错误。
