The MPS60 model is part of the Okuma Motion Control System (MCS) and is designed to operate together with the inverter module. The MPS DC power module weighs approximately 25 kilograms and has a shell size of 380 millimeters high, 300 millimeters wide, and 325 millimeters deep. This model operates on the principle of electric energy regeneration, and the single machine capacity of the MPS module is 60kW. The device provides DC power (24-300 V) through its DC bus terminals. This device can be connected to the main power supply through electromagnetic contactors and AC reactors. The MPS DC power module communicates through a converter link and can be connected to multiple MIV modules. The system running together with the spindle motor allows the use of MPS modules. This device can prevent solid particles from entering, but due to the reduced level of protection, it cannot resist liquids. Two cooling fans are installed on the top of the power module to help control the overall temperature of the casing.
The MPS60 model comes with a 2-bit seven segment LED display screen for displaying errors, and several other indicator lights are also installed on the model. This unit provides a monitoring terminal to analyze the waveform of input voltage. The module mentioned the unit type earlier, and the model also provides a controller ID switch. It is recommended to use this device within the operating temperature range recommended by the supplier.
