The MPS30 model is an MSC series product mainly used for various motion control applications. This unit is a DC power module with a single machine capacity of 30kW. The MPS DC power module can only be connected to the MIV module specified for this model and communicates through the converter link. The device adopts a closed enclosure, but the protection level is relatively low. That's why it should be installed under a switchgear with a minimum IP54 protection standard. A single MPS DC power module consists of a power board, control board, wiring terminals, IGBT, cooling fan, and heat sink. The power module obtains power through its junction box and provides DC power through the L - and L+terminals to operate the MIV module. The MIV module further controls the operation of the connected spindle motor. Some typical applications of this device are machine tools, handling systems, and textile machinery. The equipment should be operated according to the environmental conditions specified in the MPS user manual.
The device has multiple status indicator lights to indicate the operating status, fault, and DC bus charging status of the model. The indicator light is added to the front of the power module. Under extreme operating conditions, the power module uses cooling fans to maintain its ideal temperature. To achieve high efficiency, please operate the MPS20 DC power module according to the manufacturer's specified conditions. The device should be debugged by trained personnel, and the net weight of the MPS module is 11.8 kilograms.
