The MPS 20B model is a power regenerative power module manufactured by Okuma for the MCS series. The power supply unit can only be used with modules and spare parts recommended by the manufacturer. Before installation, please carefully read and understand the instructions mentioned in the user manual. The MPS DC power module provides 24-300 VDC control power when connected to the MIV module. In order to achieve effective communication and data sharing, a converter link is used in this module. The power module has power terminals for input and output of the power supply. The MPS DC power module is installed in a closed enclosure with dimensions of 380mm high, 150mm wide, and 325mm deep. The power supply unit must be installed vertically, and the top and bottom of the module should maintain the specified minimum gap to fully dissipate heat. In order to maintain the overall temperature of the system, a cooling fan is placed at the top of the power supply module, which uses external air to maintain its internal temperature.
The MPS-20B model weighs approximately 11.8 kilograms and is easy to install. This model is generally used for various motion control systems using spindle motors. Only qualified engineers can operate and handle this equipment. The allowable temperature and humidity range should be followed during debugging.
