The MPR5 model is a resistance regenerative power module used to power a drive system composed of shaft drive motors. This model is specifically designed by Okuma and is widely used in both local and international markets. The rated power capacity of the MPR DC power module is 5 kW and the weight is approximately 5.4 kg. This model uses converter links to perform communication with the MIV module. An MPR module can operate multiple MIV modules. For your peace of mind, the MPR module comes with a one-year warranty package, and if any issues arise, you can file a claim. Before installation, please ensure that the device functions properly and is not damaged. Due to its low level of protection, it should be installed in a dry environment. The MPR module does not have any controller ID switches, and the power name is mentioned on the front of the module. This model has multiple indication functions such as seven segment display, 24V fault, and DC bus charging status.
The MPR5 model is equipped with regenerative resistors to prevent high regenerative power. For cooling purposes, a heat sink unit is placed in the model, which uses external heat to maintain the overall temperature of the power supply casing.
