EEA-PAM-561-D-32 is one of the various EEA-PAM power amplifiers launched by Eaton under the Vickers brand name. The D series amplifier adopts Eurocard design, making installation convenient and fast. It can replace two traditional electronic cards and is equipped with a PID module. Except for the gain characteristics, this device is fully synchronized with the corresponding A-series power amplifier from the same manufacturer. This device only requires a 24V power supply to operate. A major advantage of this device is that it occupies less space in the rack casing.
The power amplifier operates as an integrated general module and can be configured in many ways through many DIL switches and potentiometer. The built-in testing function helps to easily diagnose whether the amplifier is operating properly. The front panel also includes multiple LEDs that light up in different colors and various monitoring points. The sensor has an analog input impedance of 1 megohm. This amplifier is suitable for manufacturers' KFDGV-5/7 valves for closed-loop position and speed control applications in hydraulic operation. The device has a slope generator and two special potentiometer, which are used to set the command slope value up and down. When overload, LVDT failure, or sensor failure occurs, the corresponding LED will light up in red. When there is a 24V input power supply and a 15V output control power supply, both LEDs light up in green. The amplifier has a digital output load current of less than or equal to 100mA. This output must only be used with sensors with a current output range of 4mA to 20mA.
