EEA-PAM-533-D-32 is Eaton's D-series EEA-PAM power amplifier for valves in the hydraulic industry. The Vickers brand card integrates built-in testing functions and two PID modules. The only difference between the A series and D series power amplifiers produced by manufacturers is that the latter does not include gain function. The PID controller output is located at the bottom of the amplifier front panel. The device is lightweight, weighing only 0.4 kilograms. The feedforward can be adjusted to any range between 20% and 100% through a potentiometer.
The power amplifier has an alarm function that can be enabled on one of the pins of the device after turning on the power for more than 500 milliseconds. After the operation fails, the alarm can be reset on the same pin. The drive signal zero indicator has a 50 ohm output resistance. There are two potentiometer for adjusting dead time compensation. The amplifier has passed CE certification. It is an ideal choice for pressure control applications in servo performance proportional valves. LVDT fault is indicated by an LED illuminated in red.
