Effects of Modifying Consumed Exchange Parameters For consumed exchanges, the combination of Producer ID and Exchange ID uniquely identifies the exchange. Modifying any of these parameters will make the exchange incompatible and require an update to the producer to restore compatibility. Parameter Behavior Producer ID Redefines the exchange.
