To work offline from the configuration server, select the Work Offline parameter and set it to True. The programmer keeps a local copy or cache of the EGD configuration information at a configurable path (see Configuring the EGD Configuration Server). Setting the Local Server Cache Path to a location on the local machine and setting the Work Offline to True allows EGD configuration data to be updated using the cached information without accessing the server.
